Who we are: The Sea Freight Council of Queensland is · An industry body representative of all diverse sectors along a sea freight logistics chain, working in harmony with all government jurisdictions and industry associations, to drive strategic change that facilitates innovation, understanding, opportunity and identifiable improvements in freight logistics. · A joint industry/ government initiative that supports all freight logistics improvements in Australia, with the main focus on Queensland. · A forum for industry and government to work collaboratively on major logistics issues for the benefit of all users of freight. · Integrated into a national network of freight logistics councils, with strong and united links to the Australian Logistics Council, and with the purpose of developing a united approach to the implementation of a framework for addressing the challenges facing the Australian freight logistics industry in the future. · A non threatening, neutral association of logistics professionals where exporters can reach out for a practical response to logistics issues, irrespective of the transport mode.
